I studied decorative garden engineering in the combination with landscape engineering and graduated from the Agricultural University in Prague. Since 2001, I have been involved in planning and managing garden realisations and park modifications. I used the opportunities afforded by my study to become acquainted with the landscape architecture of the British Islands and I learned a lot about the variability in the process of finding solutions used by colleagues in the USA and Canada. The planning of a widespread environmental nature park in Bretagne, France and the following realisation of this plan was and still is a great and valuable professional experience for me.

My projects are based on honour and respect for nature and the genus loci of the area, while taking into account an understanding of your individuality.

Landscaping and garden architecture, which bring together mans' role as a designer and the perfection of nature, have grown dear to my heart. I therefore specialized in garden architecture during my studies of landscape engineering. In addition to studying at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, I spent one semester studying at TU Dresden's Institute for Landscape Architecture.

I have been working with the Flera studio since 2007. During this time, I have participated in several projects, ranging from small private gardens and large garden improvements, to public village greenery, and park designs.

    I like my job :)

I graduated in Garden Creation at the Czech Agriculture University and my work at the Flera Studio includes all kinds of activities which are associated with the business in this area. Even though my work mainly involves numbers, I still like to enjoy a well created piece of art – no matter whether it is the work of a person or of nature itself.

... boundaries are moving in a new direction, man is always looking for new ways to sweeten your life, so why not start with a garden? I enjoy working with the contrast of modern and traditional elements, which in combination with the enchanting beauty of plants create a new dimension - form. I am trying to combine utility with elegance/style, creating a pattern in order to achieve simplicity.

I am a graduate of the Garden Creation course at the Agricultural University in Prague. Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by trees, their majesty, energy, habitus and individual details – the veins of the leaves, the transformation of the colours even when looking at a leaf against the sun, their movement in the wind...

I am interested in nature and I never stop wondering at the unrepeatable compositions which it is able to create in each season. And I try to transfer these wonderful compositions, or merely partial details from them, into my garden designs. I want to share my perception of nature and the landscape with people via their gardens and to get to know and understand their view of the nature around us.

Nature has given mankind reason to oppose her and a heart so as not to resist her. (Jean Galbert de Campriston)

I come from the area of the Bohemian Paradise and it is perhaps for this reason that I have built up a strong relationship with nature. The landscape has become my hobby. I like spending time outside and I observe the amazing diversity of colours, shapes and the ability to adapt to natural conditions.

Garden architecture was one of the options which allowed me to combine my enthusiasm for plants with my desire to have a creative job. And there is no question that this job requires a lot of creativity.

I endeavour to empathise with the client’s ideas and expectations in my projects and to transfer them into the design.
